I saw these nails and it's unbelievable how easy they are to achieve! Here's the picture;

All you need is red, green and white nail polish and some tape. And just follow the instructions in the picture. Easy peasy! :)

I really love these ideas. I've seen them so many times but never actually tired them. It's so effortless, yet beautiful. Here's the picture;
(Source: http://kobieceinspiracje.pl)

I don't know why I never tried making these before, because I always thought they were sweet. I guess I didn't know what to put at the bottom.  But it's so easy! White beads, twigs, etc. And it doesn't have to be a fancy jar either. Just a clear one, any shape. You can work with almost anything really..

I have plenty of jars and a ridiculous amount of candles in the house so I will definitely attempt this. Good Luck! xoxo

I usually prefer the sweet Christmas treat ideas but I really quite liked these snowmen. I love eggs. They smell, but I could eat them all the time! Anyway, here's the picture;
(Source: http://kobieceinspiracje.pl)

This came with no instructions but as you can see, the picture is very self explanatory. You just need; two eggs per snowman, some pepper, carrots and parsley. Put it all together like in the picture or add your own ideas and there you go!

I finally put some of the decorations up. I was so excited, i just couldn't stop myself! I can't wait until the Christmas tree goes up with all the candy canes and lollipops. Then me cooking and baking will begin. I'm gonna make every sweetie I possibly can. This house is gonna be like a Christmas sweets shop! Oh, I'm so excited I can't wait.
This is the first year since we moved here around 6 years ago, where I'm actually excited for Christmas. I'm usually the biggest grunge walking! I never used to be like that in Poland. I guess it was just hard because we always put the Christmas tree up together and the whole family would be at my granny's, where we lived, and it was just beautiful! And then we moved here, and everybody got left behind.. It wasn't the same. I can't say that I have moved on from my family, I guess I just taught myself how to enjoy Christmas even though they're not with me.
Anyway, I will show you the picture of my fireplace, coffee table and my living room window now. I really quite like it;
I absolutely love the red flowers on my coffee table. I know that they're 'Christmas flowers' but I have no idea what they're called, ha ha.
I don't know if you've noticed but the mirror is actually squint. The picture annoys me so much now, ha ha!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post and I will show you the picture of my tree as soon as it's up.

Love and Christmas decorations,
Daria, xoxo

I saw this and thought it was beautiful, here's the source, picture and instructions. Enjoy!

 This tutorial will teach you how to do this awesome 5 strand braid, but I must warn you that it might not be possible to do it by yourself, as it is a little bit confusing. Ask a friend for a help, especially one experienced in braiding beautiful braids.
Basically these are the steps you need to take to make this 5 strand braid:
1. Separate the hair into 5 parts
2. Start from the right side and cross the right strand over the left one.
3. Cross the strand in your left hand under the next one to the left
4. Then cross it over the next one to the left
5. Again under the next one to the left
This under/over/under method is the basis. Now take the same steps, but on the opposite direction.
Continue this weaving, over, under, over, until you get to the bottom of the hair.
Secure the end with a band and enjoy this fantastic piece of art!

When I saw this picture, the first thing that popped into my mind was Thanksgiving! And we don't even celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK, ha ha. I'd love to celebrate it though. It seems like a lovely holiday, as we don't say the two really simple words enough. Thank You.

Anyway, once again, this picture is without instructions so here's my 'guess' version;

Carve a pumpkin and make sure it's nice and clean inside, otherwise it will go mouldy. Put a metal container in and decorate. It's that simple! Make sure the hole isn't too big for your container first.
As you can see on the picture, you can make a nice Autumn Bouquet, Put in a festive candle or you could come up with a completely different idea. Maybe you could fill it with sweeties for Halloween? either way, it's a lovely decoration, perfect for Autumn and Winter!

I had no idea what to call these as there was no instructions with this picture, but anyone could really easily recreate this. If you know the step-by-step instructions for this, please comment below.
But here's how I would do it;

Get a few oranges, cut them in half and squeezeeeeee them. Once they're squeezed and empty on the inside, pour in some orange jelly, only half way though. Now, the white stuff at the top. I think it could be milk and gelatin or something like that, I'm not sure, but I think it is, ha ha. Like I said, if you have a recipe, please do share :-)

Afterwards just cut into quarters and you have lovely tasters that make an impression!

Really cute and easy idea for Christmas decorations. They don't even have to be for Christmas, they could be Autumn and Winter decorations. And just imagine the nice smell!

There was no instructions with this picture so I will try my best;

For the roses:
Peel the orange really carefully so you get a nice, long strip of orange peel. Shape it like above, glue it together and that's it. I believe it will look nicer once your orange peel roses dry out a little.

For the decorations:
Well, the picture is self explanatory. Cute the top and the bottom of the orange, and make a slit in the middle to make it easier to peel. Peel the orange and cut out shapes. You can dry them out on radiators, etc. I'm not sure if you can just leave them, in case they go mouldy. Make a whole, put in some nice string, and that's you! Gorgeous decorations that smell lovely too!

Remember, if you have any ideas, make sure you share them with me. I love new ideas and inspirations!

I thought I would write the date in the post, because hopefully, next time this year I will be writing a post like this for 2014.
You probably worked out from the title, that I want to talk about Christmas and what theme I want to do this year, and some inspirational pictures, etc.

Every year so far we have had a green tree. It was always just filled with baubles and love, there was never really a theme as such. I've been wanting a white Christmas tree for a loooong time now, and Argos was doing a sale on them; £50 reduced to £14 I think? And the tree is 6ft, so not that small either. Like I said, I always wanted a white tree and now that I have one, I will finally be able to have the house and the tree the way I've always wanted it :-)

I was thinking of having a white and red theme. But not just the ordinary white and red, boring theme. I want to cover the white Christmas tree in red candy canes, big red, oversized lollipops  and maybe even a few cupcakes. I think it'll look so sweet! (Get it? Sweet, ha ha). For lights, we're just going to have clear lights, so we don't take any attention away from all the goodies on the tree!
Around the living room there will be red and pink decorations, but most of all, there will be Christmas sweets evrywhere! I think I'm losing the plot.. the house will be covered in candy canes, cupcakes, homemade cookies and more!

Here's the only decoration I have so far. I love it! (Still haven't watered it since I bought it :o);
Just ignore the Furby and the cup of tea. Aren't cups of tea or hot chocolate the best though? Mmmmm..

Here are some Christmas Inspirations for you;
These cupcakes are perfect! I would probably have the trees red or the base red and the tree white, but still.. they're adorable!

Chocolate bananas! They are making me hungry, and I am not even joking! The best of it all? They're so easy to make! Just chop up a banana, slide them onto lollipop sticks and then dip in chocolate! Perfect!

Omg! Seeing this picture made me want to make this ASAP. But I don't have the stuff at home, so I guess I'll just wait. It's really just strawberries dipped in white and milk chocolate, shaped into a Christmas tree. Yum!

I'm not even sure what's on those chocolate(?) cookies but they look yummy (and Christmas-y) anyway!

I like this picture because I really didn't know what to do with my fire place, and this one looks so nice. It's not too cluttered but not too empty. It's beautiful!

I really liked these because they look so simple but add that touch of warmth? I know what I mean, ha ha.

I didn't really get much inspiration from this picture. I just wanted to put it up because it's cute<3

I was actually planning to do this. Except one colour. Put a few red candy canes and mini white baubles in a nice, clear glass or bowl for a simple decoration.

I love this so much. I wish I had those clear container/cover things. How easy would this be? And it look beautiful!

I thought I would put this up for those of you who aren't fans of white trees, but who like green trees covered in white? Ha ha ha. Isn't that living room amazing though?

And last but not least, some decorated, white, Christmas trees.

So that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed this Christmas-y blog post. I will post pictures as soon as I have the place decorated. It will definitely not be sooner than 1st December.

I have more posts coming up! Hope you enjoyed!

Love, Candy Canes, And Cupcakes,
Daria, xoxo

Let's start! If you came here from my last blogs; Teenage Mummy Blog or Fashion and Beauty Blog, then you might know who I am, but I'll introduce myself anyway;

My name is Daria and I am 18! :-) I used to make YouTube videos since I was tiny, he he. (I really wanna get back into that). My channel used to have quite a few subscribers and one video was really popular, but someone hacked it and I had to start from scratch. Since then I made pregnancy videos throughout my journey as well as beauty videos. It's really nice looking back on the pregnancy videos :)

I have a son, his name is William Richard or just William. He'll be 2 in March 2014, and he's the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I love being a mummy and I love everything fashion and beauty related, hence why I started this blog. I want to start from scratch. I won't delete my other blogs or YouTube accounts.
I really hope I will start making videos again. I might :-)

Anyway, I have a post or two lined up for this blog so I will do that as soon as I'm finished making this blog look nice.

Love, Daria
xoxo
